Biography Edit

The York Captain was the second-in-command to the Governor of York. During the siege of York by Scotland's rebels under William Wallace, the York Captain ordered all of the food and provisions to be brought inside the walls to make sure that the city could withstand the attack if a lengthy siege would occur. During the siege, the York Captain advised the royal governor to escape, but the governor refused to leave and tell his uncle Edward I that he lost the greatest city in northern England. It is unknown what happened to the York captain, although it is likely that he died.
